Does he mean choice, as in picked from a list of candidates though, maybe Commoli drew up the list of players, and Kenny choose from that list.

Otherwise, what the hell was Commolli paid for ?

Or, is Kenny just making the players think they are still in his plans, if he admits he never sanctioned any of them, that's not going to help thimngs now, tbh, i'm not sure Commolli going now was neccessary, end of the season would have done.
