The later kick-off time is more favourable for TV companies; the later the game the more casual viewers they can expect which makes advertising slots more expensive, meaning more money in the till.

ha, i keep hearing about Evertons 'gift' goal to us, but ffs, their goal was far more of a gift from us, Suarez had far more to do to score than Yelavic..who quite simply had the ball bounce perfectly infront of him to hit from almost point blank range!

As Craig has already alluded to, there was a lot more about Suarez's goal than a mere error from Distin.

I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday and think Wembley is a fantastic stadium but felt at times the atmosphere was a bit flat, especially in the first half when we were struggling. It seemed to me that vocal and non vocal fans were mixed more than they are at Anfield, especially in the Kop, with the effect that pockets of supporters would try to generate some noise but there wasn't sufficient critical mass to generate sustained chanting.

I think the subdued atmosphere was a combination of: nerves; tiredness due to lots of fans travelling down at silly o' clock in the morning; and poor play from us in the first half.

It seems a shame the club doesn't allocate seats on the basis of attendance at Anfield with those that sit in the more vocal areas in the Kop put together. It would be good if they did as I think that would create a better atmosphere.

I don't think this would make much difference to be honest - it doesn't make much difference at Anfield so it's hard to see it make a big impact in a more spacious environment.

I'd have thought spreading them out would be more beneficial. The vocal ones will sing anyway, the quiet ones won't. The uncertain or timid folk won't if they are on their own but might join in if surrounded by others.
