Liverpool vs Everton FA Cup Semi-final post match celebration thread
I found that the carling cup final, the atmosphere to be a bit 'strange' and sporadic - it seemed to go up and down in waves with a bit of quiet moments and one section of liverpool fans in full voice would be singing something completley different to another section off fans
I was sat in the top tier, so thought that maybe being so high up had something to do with that.
for the semi on Saturday, i was lower tier, about 20 rows up so near the pitch and the atmosphere was bouncing - apart from a period in the first half when they scored and we were **** -
although i enjoyed both days, i defo prefered being closer to the action
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

The first is from a BBC interview with Bill Kenwright this morning before kick off.
Quote:
"I texted him (Moyes) last night to say I've never wanted a victory so much."
The just makes it all the sweeter, Bill. Have also just seen the footage of Moyes celebrating their goal - you'd have thought he'd won the Cup the way he was giving it the old fists.
Next up is a post from the Bluekipper match thread, and to give it some context it's the post just before Carroll scores...

89th min Neville winner u just know its going to happen
Of course, while he was, in fairness, in the minority, you're always going to get somebody who deludes themselves....

No it's not, we're above them, and the better team. A freak result at Wembley can't change this, no matter how much the rats try to tell us that. Everton have been the most successful team on merseyside so far this season.
And those who turn to God/Fate to answer them.....

Sorry I'm just f****** gutted... Why we can't beat Liverpool? It's truly unfair.
Back to the deluded......

We've been playing like Barcalona the last month, that's what other teams fans have said about us in the way we have been passing teams off the park.
Where was that today?, we were lke a 2004/5 Everton playing to win games 1-0.
Yes, yes you have Rocky.....
And just a quick word about Moyes' post-match interview. I see he's blamed the loss on the individual mistakes of Distin (probably their best defender all season) and Coleman (a what - 20/21 year old?). Great man-management, Dave, and I note it absolves your tactics. Weathered the storm indeed. Yous ****house.

WTF??
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

And a freak result at Anfield and a freak result at Goodison
