I have never done so as when I can't get to a game my Dad takes my little cousin along.
You probably can if the ST is in your name, but in reality the ST 'returns' figures are very small. You sell them back at a loss,

      too.

Sure, you can get them if you make the effort and try but I have heard horror stories from friends of being on hold for hours, terrible customer service and ridiculous costs in relation to doing so. I think it's a 5p/10p per minute line you have to call isn't it? If you are on the phone for hours trying to get a ticket for Man Utd or something then you're looking at your ticket cost being doubled with the cost of the phone call on top!

I'm sure you know more about this process than me but these are stories I have from close friends.
Do your close friends never buy their members tickets online? I always do/did and it's a piece of piss. No call charges whatsoever and when you know what you're doing and put in a bit of effort, it takes about 5 mins.

        Exactly

If someone has the option to buy online and still chooses to ring up on the phones, then they're missing a trick.

No idea to be honest, never asked too much detail. I will ask if they complain again now I am armed with this info.

I am really lucky. I got my season ticket when I was 9 years old (1985-86 season...not a bad start!) and it wasn't so tough then. My Dad just walked into the gorund and asked for two season tickets! Crazy!

Wouldn't give it up now though.

Liverpool Football Club has today made the following announcement regarding FA Cup final tickets.

As a small number of supporters did not take up the offer of a ticket in yesterday's ballot and as we have, today, received a very limited number of extra restricted view seats for the FA Cup Final, we are now in a position to offer around 450 supporters on the FA Cup waiting list the opportunity to purchase a ticket.

Successful supporters will shortly receive an email from the Club and will have until 3pm tomorrow afternoon to purchase.

The Club do not expect to have any further tickets available to sell after this sale and we believe the game will sell out at this point.

In the email confiming ballot success it also stated that there were a number of restricted view seats in the allocation. I wonder just how restricted these views are....

I think its the ones at ends of walkways and stuff. People always walking in front of you. As far as im aware Wembley has no seats behind pillars or anything stupid.
                  *Except Michael, who died.

That's an interesting interpretation; I'd always associated restricted views with fixed obtacles like posts and pillars, not people moving about

They pride Wembley on every seat having a perfect view, so that is a bit weird. Are they cheaper?
                      Oh I don't know.

I don't know, but if I end up behind somebody with a Fellani type hair-do I'm going to try and claim some money back for my 'restricted view' seat.

Googled. Someone asked the same question on a city forum...

pleased you've got one mate - one of my mates at the semi said that his restricted view ticket just meant that he was sat next to a stairway at a slightly weird angle so there was a bar on top of a wall that slightly annoyed him but didn't stop him seeing owt.

                            Good explanation, thanks.

Just saw Brad Jones's wife on Twitter saying their NEWBORN requires a ticket if they want him to attend the final. So that means an empty seat next to Brad's missus. What an absolute joke.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                                That is ridiculous.
