Certain scenes have been analysed. That is it.

The inner workings of training sessions and match preparation are on TV. What on earth do you expect?

I think the scene with Carroll has gotten too much attention. Reading into Rodgers body language/demeanor/words. He outright came and said Carroll was going. What is there to read there?

It is a very superficial look at the club. Clearly things have been cut that we are not supposed to see. So it is pointless seeing it as anything but entertainment because of that. If it was true all access, we would have seen transfer negotiations, Rodgers meeting with his staff (away from the players) things like that. But we don't, all we see is the gloss. Which is exactly how it should be with something like this.

Too be honest it is on the same level as these reality programs that are so derided. They do not represent a complete reality.

The point I was making was in regard to the contrast in Rodger's body language and manner towards the players that were in his plans, or those who were not.

I suppose you might have a point there, although I don't think its very surprising or revelatory really I was more responding to Bob's suggestion on the last page that Rodgers was "bull****ting Carroll when all he wanted to do was play", which is pretty silly really considering that a week later Carroll's hamstring went in his first game at West Ham.

This is a thread is it not about the documentary. So in that case we are allowed to comment on items contained within it. Its true I don't know how Kenny or Rafa were behind the scenes but I can see what Rodgers is like and whether this snapshot is a true reflection or not he comes across to many people as a cock at times.

If I was sat listening to that drivel game in game out I personally would have switched off. I think the same applies to the more established players. Thats why I also said I think his ideas will come across better with the young players. I can see the naivety being a plus point. They know little else so will or should take what he says as gospel. This is a good thing.

I do quite like the man but we must remember he has achieved nothing yet, absolutely nothing. So we have nothing but instinct to go by and blind faith. We all want him to succeed. We don't all have to love the man.
