One other thing. I'm not saying we were especially good, because saving for the last 25 minutes, we werent.

But a lot of that was down to setting ourselves up to stop Chelsea playing. Aside from a couple of defensive ****-ups, we did that. I dont remember them being that good. Two real chances (which we gifted them) and two goals. I thought we actually had more chances than they did. They took their two and due to whatever reasons, bad luck, bad finishing, ball crossed the line/didnt cross the line...whatver it was. We didnt take ours.

Same old story as has been the case all season. When the same problem bites you on the bum time and time again, you simply have to rectify it at the first opportunity. We didnt do that in January. We MUST do it in the summer.

The idea was to play Stevie off Luis. It didn't work out because Stevie dropped off to start attacks all of the time. We need strenghtening there urgently. It's threadbare.

Shelvey, Suso, Coady, Texeira - Not ready to be starting games

Gerrard - Wasted in the middle IMO. He's world class in a more advanced role

That leaves Lucas and there's a question mark over him as nobody knows if he'll be the same player next season after his injury and lay off.
We probably need a quality DM and top class CM next in the summer, use the youngsters as back up next season.

We were the better side again but lost. That's the story this season. We need to carry on doing what we're doing right that is getting into scoring positions and try to improve on scoring and eradicating the silly mistakes.

We don't need another ****ing overhaul on the managerial side.

It's played a part obviously. But just like saying it's all been bad luck and none of it down to Kenny would be incorrect, so is putting the whole blame on him.

I mostly agree with that, the problem is is we sell Spearing Adam and Henderson, play Gerrard in an advanced role that leaves us missing at least 1 midfielder for the starting 11 and more for the squad roles as the other players aren't ready. That means buying 2 centre midfielders plus everything else we need, it just isn't practical to sell them all as we won't have the money for all that.
