Not at all acceptable. It's unacceptable to call for the manager's head after a series of bad results though. How hypocritical of some as well, same people who were defending Rafa to the hilt when he was being criticised left right and centre.

I expect Kenny to rectify things in the summer. His contract runs out at the end of next season anyway. I do think that the owners have massive faith in him but that's just my opinion.

Kenny was given a 3 year contract. He still has 2 years left.

Roy was the epitome of incompetence. There's absolutely no comparisons to be made. Style of play, surrendering possession and players hating him. Then I'm not even talking about both of their records over the years.

Recruitment wasn't great but it doesn't even compare to Souness' record when he bought the likes of Julian Dicks, Paul Stewart to name just a few.

That still doesn't make it acceptable, and to repeat that Souness level of recruitment could have damaged us for years to come.

Souness had a huge hand in pulling us away from being potential league winners. Dalglish just might have pulled us away from being even top four contenders.

i'm certain that either way it would have been with very different players.

hard to say, it certainly wasn't brilliant in his last season for us but with different circumstances to work under at the club then he might have got more points for us.

We'll never know though.
