Great result , but a case of too little too late , where was this fight and aggression on Saturday when it mattered

We need stability, I just hope Kenny has learnt from last summer and puts it right.

I think the performances that got him the job in the first place are also his undoing in some fans eyes. Just 18months ago we were in the most awful position I can remember, everything looked bleak. When Kenny took over we probably over performed and it gave us false expectancies.

there was plenty of that in the last half hour to be fair. we're all gutted but ultimately a chelsea first team that has just knocked barca out of the cl to reach the final were at the races earlier in the game and were stronger. yet had reina actually done what he was paid to do we might not of lost. that early goal knocked us and the fragile confidence of our team.

I think our players are still capable of hitting the post, they won't be fooled by your sneaky tactics

fair comment. not sure what he has to learn though as I think those signings or many of them at least will come good.

"that early goal knocked us and the fragile confidence of our team."

This is what worries me we had a lot of international stars playing including our captain surely it is up to the manager and senior players to instill this in the players

Downing is a life lesson if ever I've seen one

But I think we've signed too many players that aren't quite ready. They may turn out to be fantastic players, but we paid fee's that we could have signed established players for.

Not replacing Lucas. Not in terms of transfers, 4 defenders on the bench, Carragher ahead of Coates off the top of my head.

Hodgson can't finish ahead of us now.

                      It's beyond obvious now mate.

I have connections at Liverpool, doesn't mean I support them. Never been to Liverpool except as an away fan.

Thinking Andy Carroll is actually potentially a good player is no less deluded than all the people here who after 5 terrible seasons Anderson is going to be world class one day.

I would love to know who we are buying if this alastair is really ITK.

47 goals scored now. We really need to stick 4 or 5 past Swansea to finish ahead of Messi in the scoring charts for the season.

I'd be pretty sure at this stage of the season, there is no such thing as an ITK unless you know Kenny or Steve Clarke directly. Might know about policy and certain things going on but I doubt transfers at this stage.

His name sounds scottish, maybe he is related to one of them two. Though he says it's someone on the board.

alastair : There is someone I know who's on the board, hence I get a bit of info now and then.

Nothing at all on that - I'm not privy to everything that goes on at the club. I just occasionally hear some juicy stuff which I then proceed to spread all over the caf to further my credentials as an ITK.

As he says, he's not really ITK. Gets some info every now and then but so does everyone with any sort of connection to the club. I know someone that spends time with Carroll but he get next to no info because the players themselves don't know. Tells the odd bit of info a bit early when its done but not public knowledge.
