I don't think anyone has actually had a great season to be honest (or even a good one)
Lucas getting injured ****ed us up big time
I do thInk that next season looks promising though... I am Hopi g that Stevie retires from England duty and has a season free of niggles for a change. I think that Carroll and Henderson are only goi g to get better and to be honest, I hope that downing can become a solid player as well...maybe in his second season he can kick on
I actually think that the eurodisney cup might actually be a blessing in disguise to be honest - LFC can use that to give the likes of Flanagan, Robinson, Kelly, sterling, shelvey and maybe a few
Others some valuable game time and experience.... For
Our squad going forward, that might be very importantLast edited by frank the tank; 08-05-12, 10:52 PM.

Would've probably been Lucas if not for his injury.
Agger would've had a shout too if he hadn't bust his ribs.
Not a lot in it for me between Skrtel and Suarez. I'll probably edge towards Skrtel for his performances throughout the season, but Suarez has really gone up a level since his ban.
I'll vote tomorrow once I've slept on it.

Skrtel
Johnson
Carroll
Agger
Shelvey
Make that your backbone and add Reina, Lucas, Enrique, Gerrard & Bellamy who are consistent performers in the mostpart and so should we be worried about next season or are this lot performing at their best already by finishing 8th? FWIW, I'd love to see a return to 4-2-3-1 as I think we now have the personnel to work that formation

Loved that 4-2-3-1 formation. Played a lot of good football using that and it's still probably the best way to set up our team.Originally posted by Norbert Dentressangle View PostSuarez

We're only two or three first team players away from a top-four challenge. Get Lucas back, play Gerrard further forward next year, Carroll is improving, Suarez has put the Evra incident behind him. Plus we can't play as well next season and not get the results.
As for the vote, I'm still leaning towards Skrtel.
