Still want Rafa but seeing as it's an impossibility I would be interested in AVB. Stitched up by those cunts at Chelsea, likes good football, ambitious....much prefer him to Martinez.

Who is advising them? That's the big worry. I was torn on keeping Kenny and letting him go, but the big worry is who FSG will bring in to replace him.

Martinez if he comes might be fantastic and turn us around, or he could be completely out of his depth and come this time next year we'll have another summer like this one and the last two.

AVB was a complete failure at Chelsea. I fear that his abrasive personality won't cut it with our squad.

As far as all the stuff I've read on him and his plans concerned, he sounded like a Portuguese Rafa.

Except I feel he embraces more of the technical qualities and has a clear vision on how he wants the game to be played; fast, play high up the pitch, each player must be technically sound.

In fairness mate, any owner will get abuse for sacking a legend like Kenny. They probably expected it really.

It's still too early to judge FSG. Let's see where we are in a few years' time before judging them. The abuse isn't needed and isn't going to help anyone.

I know what you mean. Chelsea has a massive rebuilding job and I think they've been on the decline for a few years now. Still, they probably would have ended up out of all 3 competitions haven't they sacked AVB.

I'd be inclined to give AVB the chance. He was rate sttiched up at Chelsea by a horrible bunch of dinobots and mongoloids and I'm not sure that stint is a true reflection of his ability.

I'm also not anti-Martinez. Given the resources at his disposal he's done a fabulous job. On paper the motley crue he built up would stuggle in the Championship let alone being able to stick it in the prem. It would be interesting to see his transfer policy at a bigger club though (although he can bring McCarthy with him for a start)
