And if I remember correctly, we also looked more threatening after the substitution than before. Replacing a world class but tired player with an average but fresh player is not always wrong. We still lost though!!

Rafa was trying to manage an injury Torres was carrying. In fact, a week later Torres was ruled out of our next league match and was on his way back to Spain to visit a knee specialist. Hindsight and all that...
