Like I'm the only one to have made that point.
    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Former England boss Fabio Capello, who quit that role in February, is not on the Liverpool owners' shortlist to fill the vacant managerial post at Anfeld.

Just been reading up on Rogers, he certainly has the right philosophy and is young too. Inexperienced though at the top level but is this where LVG comes in? Could be interesting.

It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

Seen various sources saying the shortlist for the Aston Villa job is Martinez, Rodgers & Lambert.

              Villa FFS.

We are in danger of becoming the new Villa, we need a better appointment than either of those three FFS.
              Thanks very much for being

Add to that that Solskjær turned Villa down, these guys might not even be Villas first choice. On the other hand, Villa could be aiming too high trying to get Martinez and Rodgers.

In my mind, every candidate that gets knocked off the list, pushes Rafa closer to the front of the queue.

Would you be happy with LVG as manager?

That may be their wishlist but doesnt mean any of those will go to them. They will end up with Holloway probs.

Id prefer Martinez over AVB and Brendan. People are just writing him off because he has not managed a club thats capable of winning trophies yet. But he has the right attributes

This job has to be Rafa's. FSG are a freaking joke.

this is true, although the list is just pure speculation. It is only 8 days since Dalglish was sacked, but the longer it takes to appoint somebody the more likely Rafa will be considered.

If you'd be happy with Martinez, then why not Rogers?
