Hey perhaps martinez could be our Steve kean, here to stay regardless of results. That should cheer some of you up.

Kenny is a great man, nobody was jumping for joy at his departure. I wish things had worked out for him and us, but unfortunately it didn't happen. Now we need to move forward and hope things improve, which I am confident they will. Whoever takes over next needs our support.

Hodgson was an incompetent manager and a ****. Martinez is no Hodgson but there are serious concerns about him. It could work but there are too many ifs and buts for people NOT to be worried.

If Martinez comes and things dont go well I think it will be FSG under the microscope rather than Martinez

Personally, I'll be indifferent if Martinez is appointed. No record to get excited about, but I think he's a bright and likeable guy with plenty of potential. My negativity or positivity this summer will mainly be influenced by which players will bring in.

He'll get my support

It'll either work or it won't. I predict we will finish higher than 8th next season, probably won't reach two cup finals. I'd be happy to see some progress in the way we play - Dalglish had us playing some great football at times, yet we seemed very negative against "lesser" teams. I want to see us having a go and not showing the opposition too much respect. I think Martinez is more likely to take chances which might backfire sometimes, but with our superior players I believe that we will improve our results significantly. I can't be sure, but I'm excited to see what happens.

Anyone who gets appointed the manager will get our support.

Hodgson was completely the wrong choice but the.fans still got behind him for the first game of the season. If martinez gets the job we will all have our own opinions on him but regardless we will still spport him.

One thing I can guarantee is that no matter what happens martinez will get more support and understanding from the fans than hodgson ever did.

If its roberto martinez then so be it. I want rafa but I will still get behind roberto and hope he really is as good as what everyone thinks he could be.
