I'm at the stage of not giving a **** who it is - I just wish they'd appoint someone. Which shows how the interent has actually driven me mad as I'd apparently rather keep coming on here than leave it for a few days. I'm now actually acting contrary to what I want and wanting what I know to be bad for the club rather than just leaving this ****in thread alone. I need to be sent to a temporary form of internet Dignitas.

What about the people that go the game week-in, week-out and wouldn't want to pay for the 'privilege' of voting? Aren't they already doing enough? Plus would somebody that goes the game week-in, week-out have merely the same level of influence as somebody say, from overseas that had never been the match but had purchased a membership? That wouldn't seem quite fair to me, after all, what would the ground look like without these people and only the directors sitting in the directors box. Buying voting influence seems very consumer-centric to me.

You almost got the point ... It is Bayern's model that allows them to integrate the likes of Franz Beckenbauer, Uli Hoenes, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Christian Nerlinger into their management structure ... Not only that, these people with great footballing background are 100% in charge of the footballing department of the club, so the club owners (Club members 81.8% + Adidas AG 9.1% + AUDI AG 9.1%) don't really have to worry about such things as appointing the manager or players transfers ...

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

                Talk about contradictory

Liverpool's pursuit of Brendan Rodgers irks ex-Swansea stalwart.

Ex-Swansea City player Wyndham Evans has criticised Liverpool as speculation mounts over Brendan Rodgers' future.

Liverpool have made a second attempt to discuss their vacant managerial position with Swansea boss Rodgers .

[B]Evans is unimpressed with Liverpool's silence as they search for Kenny Dalglish's successor .

"Brendan has said in fairness he has not been interviewed by Liverpool. Where the speculation is coming from we don't know," said Evans.

"It's all coming from the Liverpool end and apparently Liverpool are announcing their manager on Friday.

"That will be interesting to say the least considering Brendan hasn't had an interview."

I think you have to look at it more from an union/NGO/ type of structure. If you are a member you get a vote, if you only "donate" you don't although you support. It's very common in football clubs elsewhere where the amateur part of the club still owns it. So it's members of the organisation/union or what you call it that owns the club. Very common in other countries, Germany and Spain best examples. In Spain it's even required of the clubs. I think most if not all German clubs are owned by the members as well.

We are not really that far of right now, except you don't get a say for you membership fee at Liverpool.

The club members have the priority when obtaining season tickets and match tickets ... Basically, apart from a very small fraction, the majority of the tickets are always going to the club members ... Of course, not always to the same members ... For example, Barca have a number of members that is almost double than the capacity of the Camp Nou ... And you are not buying voting influence ... You are supporting the club financially, and you get the chance to elect the Board every 4 years ...

So the model is basically get Ex-players to run the show? Why don't you outline a model for us, and list the ex-players you'd have in the key positions....
