So you're saying you would have been fine with them going behind Kenny's back to look for a replacement? Come on mate, that would be seriously reprehensible behaviour, and you would be amongst the loudest on here calling them on it if that ever got out.

We are too big for him, but he that's me, it's my opinion, one which t seems obvious the owners share

Think they were really worried about approaching someone, however discreetly, and it leaking out tbh before Kenny was gone officially.

It seems odd given Dalglish lives and breathes LFC, but this time around it just didn't work. I would rather entrust an intelligent young manager with enthusiasm and something to prove than someone who believes that their CV entitles them to patience in spite of them being **** like the scenario when Hodgson was in charge.
imo, rafa, avb and klopp are the most qualified candidates, and they were all lesser club managers, at least 2 of whom were relegated before a big club took a chance on them. not saying it applies in any specific case, but of course they can be successful.

Wigan have fallen down the league under Martinez, if you are citing an ever increasing competitive Premier League then shouldnt that have been taken into consideration for Kenny also?

Rodgers was highly thought of when he was at Chelsea and was seen as someone who was instigating progressive and attractive football in their youth or reserve levels (I cant remember which one it was). If you knew anything about football you'd know that

Pardon my manners but I cant dance these days, old football injury that finished me up sadly
Is this the same Brenden Rogers who did so well in his other two manager jobs at Reading and Watford ? ... then suddenly got everything right at Swansea .... thing is I know I am right about this, you are just plain flat out wrong

in that case, i think the fear would be that they would transcend this plane of existence and leave the club in limbo.

Agreed, but people are forgetting that that season was the exception rather than the rule. The oft quoted
                    4-0 Madrid
                    5-0 Villa
                    4-1 scum
etc, were all in the same short period of time, maybe even the same month.

What about the other seasons in the league, they were generally dross. But they are conveniently forgotten to make a point. Make no mistake, Rafa provided us great memories, but the league form in general was average.

Agreed. Applies to any business. It's happened when Rafa was sacked and now it seems, Kenny.

Vonk, our league form since he left has been woeful bar Kenny's honeymoon period.

We hit bumps in the road and suffered slow starts, but pretty much every season we had good runs of form in the league where we played good, not attacking but balanced, football that made us all expect to win games. Whoever the new manager is, if we get back to that it's a ****ing result in my mind.

I agree with the sentiment too, but i really think they were aware of letting Kenny go in the correct way, it's been bad enough a reaction as it is, with blurts giving JH's missus 'real abuse' on twitter and the like.

They may have known their man, but could not/would not approach him for those reasons.

perfect assessment in my opinion, everyone is entitled to their version of the truth but it really gets under my skin when LFC supporters regurgitate the media sound bites.

For the record I remain a Rafa supporter 100% but I'd rather we get someone brand new with the same managerial standard.

Not so sure about that mate. I have a feeling this could be sorted within a fortnight personally. Hope I'm right of course.

Sensible post I still would like to see Rafa back, if not either an manager who has major lg titles to his name or a young manager with a heavy weight dof with a record of signing proven international level players
