Very very interesting. I have come across the 'provoking' theory with Barcelona before but they call it prompting.

It sort of reminds me when we were on TV during Rafa's reign and Kenny was guest pundit on TV. I don't remember which game it was, but it was an all-too-common unadventurous affair with very little attacking intent from us, and the thing that stands out is Kenny's diplomatic comment at half time of: "You've got to give yourself a chance to win", accompanied by a half-grimace. I often thought about that comment when he was manager during the many times we hardly had any men in the box when 'attacking'.

Frank De Boer would be an incredible snap, but I can't see him leaving Ajax. Like his style of play and the way he doesn't take crap from anyone.

So many players and managers have spoken highly of carras knowledge of thr game, furthermore as someone who knows exactly what it takes to put their heart and soul into wearing the red shirt he's ideal to be working on some of the players less committed in their approach. Great example to new lfc players as to how to conduct themselves as professionals and lfc players, not to forget a valid working experience of how to win trophies.

Media savvy etc? Maybe not but there's time as part of a coaching team to develop those skills. I'd definitely look to include him.
