I would think Van Gaal (if true) would be part of the interview process. (for the manager)Originally posted by Shanks View PostAlmost a "chicken or the egg" scenario..
Does Van Gaal wait to see who is manager, or does the manager wait to see and ask who will be DOF?Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

You are entittled to your opinion and i dont believe that FSG are trying to bleed us dry . My objection is to the manner of how they are managing the club in terms of football decisions. Sacking Kenny was just too much for me after one full season . Im not saying that everything Kenny done was great and i cannot explain some decisions like buying and constanly playing Dowing and Adams . But we had some success and as i highlighted earlier Kenny was doing better than Fergie at a similar stage of team building.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostJust think it's a tad early for things like that, if it becomes obvious they're here to bleed us dry then i'm sure lots of fans will do likewise, but we're a long way away from that now. imo.
Took City best part of 4 yrs to get to where they are, at the rate of spend they had, we can't do that, so it's a different approach.
I believe Kenny was sacked for non footballing reasons ( Suarezgate) and the way he was sacked gets to me. Now my expectations is that the main criteria when they are "selecting" the new manager will be how he looks /sound and how they can control him.
The poll at the top of this thread is clear who the fans choice would be and its equally clear that FSG are not considering this . That would be ok if we were courting managers of similar standing such as Hiddenk
Part of the reason it took city so long to win the league with all that cash was poor management. This year i believe the won it in spite of thier manager but thats a differant arguement
