Now, now. It really isn't.

At least Martinez's philosophy is to play decent football, and when he's talking to the media he doesn't put his foot in it like Woy.

However, it is such a huge gamble when you look at his managerial record and lack of experience.

It's Hodgson all over again in the sense of being so underwhelming that who really is going to want to sign for LFC this summer with a manager who just survived relegation by the skin of his teeth?

He is a flavour of the month manager just like Hodgson was. Since when does managing a relegation fodder club put you in contention for the Liverpool managers job?

I don't understand the negativity, we had our wishes granted with Kenny - now it's time for the owners to implement their own ideas. I can't predict the future (unlike some of the doom-mongers on here), but I feel confident that the future under Martinez will be better than it was under either Hodgson or Dalglish. If it's not Rafa then I'm happy to see how things progress with Martinez. Interesting times ahead.

That's inevitable I think. I will support whoever gets the job and hope that everyone else does but he needs to improve us from last season. Can he top 2 cup finals?

Would finishing 5th and no cup finals be an improvement? Not for me.he would have to at least win a trophy or finish top 4 to be considered an improvement. Big ask I say.
