What the **** do you, know about recruitment or what they have or have not done other than what you have read on ****ter or a tabloid, do you know who there advisers are ? I beleive they have replaced both the commercial and communications directors, pretty swiftly by all accounts.

Give it a chance before you completely write him off. You may be proved wrong. If he is manager he will need the support of the fans.

I actually like Martinez's tactics and him as a person. That doesnt get away from him not being qualified enough to manage LFC imo

Parry managed this (with Rafa) and kept it on the quiet so why couldnt they manage it

Then we have the entire interview selection ****ing nonsense, it was far too broad

Then we have the Martinez situation how he is a front runner for the LFC job is frankly beyond incredible

Mind you what do you expect when the process is being run by someone who was instrumental and involved in the sacking of Rafa and replacing him with Hodgson

Most of this is based on what you've read or heard in the press. Their selection process could be completely different to how you perceive.

Thats fair enough but journalists do it to create a story and get paid etc....

Most of the posters on here have the best interest of the club at heart, just a different view of how the club should go about that

To judge our owners so harshly, in such a short period of time suggests you do not have the first clue about what you are talking about. You are way off mark on job responsibilities and how real hiring and firing actually works outside of internet football forums

Was Pep G qualified to manage Barca or AVB Porto ? they did not turn out too badly, he certainly is more qualifed than both of those two candidates and they are the hottest two mangers in world football right now, but your right and everybody who is invloved in football is wrong ... FSG announced Ayre would head up the recruitment process

Martinez is clearly on the shortlist as was Rodgers and a whole host of other managers who have declined the opportunity (De Boer, Klopp, Deschamps)

I'm not saying I want the owners gone, I actually think some of the thinfs they have done has been good. I dont believe they are right in regards to this process

I think its ill thought out and ill advised route they are taking

For every Pep Guardiola and AVB there is a Paul Ince, Mike Walker, Roy Hodgson etc....

Remember people in football were saying Roy would be great for us

At best Martinez is a ****ing enormous gamble

I genuinely hope I'm wrong on all levels and there is one thing you can guarantee if Martinez is appointed I certainly wont be the first one calling for his head

Both of them had a fantastic pedigree though, same cant be said of Roberto Martinez.

For me, you can't judge if he is good enough until he is the manager. He may not be qualified but that doesn't mean to say he can't be a success. Plenty of under-qualified managers have been thrown into a role of managing a big club and been successful. Look at Roberto Di-Matteo. Having managed West Brom you can hardly say he was qualified enough to lead Chelsea to a CL final. It is a high-risk situation to employ a man like Martinez but if they get it right, the people will be praising the owners for a long time to come.
