They could have lured many a big names with that money.

Yeah, and paying 20m for Downing was a great idea. I like him, but it's not the right appointment. Feel like it's going to be years and years until we get back to a decent level.

I for one feel quite positive about Brendan Rodgers appointment. Lot of disgruntled fans disappointed that we haven't signed a so called big name manager. Look at Chelsea's recent record to show that doesn't always work out....

Rodgers is a modern day footballing manager who wants to play the game the right way. Let's get behind him and the team....and give them both time!
