Mate, I have already been through all of this at RAWK, until eventually most people have realized that I am very serious when I am talking about transfer numbers, and I thoroughly check them before I get engaged into a transfer debate ... Some of them have even had to pay some money to come to that conclusion ...

That's the mistake for me. For one thing its much more fun when you just bumble round making **** up, another is that there is no way of catagorically knowing the accuracy of an independent sites data so it is always going to be debated and finally who the **** cares.

I think the "giving a Manager more time" point is a slightly different argument, and is more specific to the owners, rather than the Manager.

If there is a "should he get more time" debate going on then it indicates we are not doing well, so, why aren't we doing well? The point I'm making is that, to answer that question with: "We aren't doing well because the Manager hasn't got the unanimous backing of the crowd" is not acceptable.

Sure, I agree of course but I don't see that's what Hunter is saying - at least it's not a fundamental point.

Either way it seems we broadly agree and even though we might not see this article quite the same way, if we're going to pick over the innards of every article in the media that isn't totally correct, then we're going to be very busy men.

No way, I was literally just thinking the same thing. Having the staying power to see out an arguement with Craig_h was like the Est initiation. Only the stubborn survive. He'd wipe out this lot in about 4 hours.
