i'm excited too. let's sign some ****ers who will hopefully play in a redeveloped anfield.

Sigurdson is a big yes. He could really be a long term replacement for Gerrard as like Gerrard, he has a blistering shot from distance.

Not sure about the others. Sinclair and Dyer are better than the wingers we have but I think we could do much better if we scour the European market. Actually he I'd take Dyer.

agree with 'Shanks' about those being the players we look to take if we do take any.

good call on sigurdsson being similar to Gerrard, he is of a similar build and even controls the ball and moves it about in a similar way to stevie G. Don't think we will see anybody quite on par with Gerrards ability for a couple of decades, but Gylfi is a good replacement long term!

Out of Sinclair and Dyer i prefer Sinclair marginally but we have lacked a natural winger on the right for so long its not even funny.

I do think Rodgers will look overseas as well though now he has a better budget, Muniain would be a dream signing alongside gylfi they would really cement brendo's style imo.

Much happier with the prospect of expanding Anfield than building an identikit bowl with no soul.

The rage in stadium design is to create an "historic" feel at most places anyway. Yes, there are some amazing, super expensive modern stadia, but I personally think redeveloping Anfield, bringing it up to date while maintaining its history, is ideal. Plus, gives me more time to make it over there *ha*
