Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Null and void the seasonOriginally posted by foresterbloke View Post**** it all off, the season is done. Go and find a new hobby.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I can believe it as we've barely had a shot on target and those that have been have been straight at the keeper.Originally posted by Buzzo View Post1.6%
that has to be anomalous? It has been noticeable that we aren’t even getting flukes. Loads from in close as well.

Normally we'd all agree, but this season we won't have our central defence at all, so its a bit different. As Klopp has now admitted, we're in a battle to finish in the top 4 this time, and I really don't see that happening either.Originally posted by kingfunk View PostI don’t think all is lost just yet, we are in a rut, if we can put a run of 3 or 4 wins together, get some of that confidence back, we will be up there challenging come the end of the season.Glass half empty club

I actually think we will be ok, when Matip is fit, Hendo will move up, and against a side with cloggers (like Burnley?) Phillips will play. Matip/Hendo/Philips and Fab at the back, with Thiago growing into the role and when Jota is back and we can rotate our forwards...we are good to go!Originally posted by fabinho View PostNormally we'd all agree, but this season we won't have our central defence at all, so its a bit different. That's the problem in itself, he can't stay fit, we've played 18 league games this season VVD was injured early in the 5th, so we have needed Matip for 14 of them and he has played in 8, so about half. The table is very tight we need to be putting our strongest side out for every game, even if we only play him in only PL games the chances of Matip playing our remaining 20 games is effectively zero. I would say optimistically he plays about 70-75% of those games which leaves us needing to use someone else in 5 or 6 of them, which we might get away with Phillips or Williams for depending on who they are against. But no one would be surprised if he comes back and within a game or two gets injured again and we are up **** creek again. Sadly we just can't rely on him.Originally posted by Scratch View PostI actually think we will be ok, when Matip is fit, Hendo will move up, and against a side with cloggers (like Burnley?)
