What makes you think that about Sinclair?

I'm assuming they think Ibe is good enough for U21's.

I already had but I have to post again for it to update.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I heard the commentator mention it on lfc tv a few weeks ago. Might have misheard / memory not great.

        Trio score as U21s win

Liverpool U21s got their first win of the 2012-13 season as they brought a 3-1 victory home from Crystal Palace.

Rodolfo Borrell watched his team open their campaign with a 1-1 against Wolves last week but it was three points on Bank Holiday Monday thanks to goals from Krisztian Adorjan, Jack Robinson and Michael Ngoo.

The Reds started slowly but took the lead from a direct free-kick, Adorjan finding the net via the post.

The hosts then levelled through Matt Parsons just after the interval as Liverpool again took their time to get going.

However, for the most part the young Reds were in control and enjoyed the majority of possession.

They got their reward when Robinson pounced on the ball at the far post, smashing home from four yards to restore the lead.

An Ngoo header on 75 minutes sealed the win, and the U21s now head into next Monday's home clash with Man City full of confidence.

I see Teixeira was sub for the reserves today. Unused sub. What's going on with him?

                Report

Marc Pelosi netted twice as Liverpool U21s drew 2-2 with a strong Manchester City outfit at the Academy on Monday.

The American youth international gave the Reds a first-half lead when he fired home after great play from Conor Coady and Krisztian Adorjan.

City levelled on the stroke of half-time after debutant Scott Sinclair hit the post from the penalty spot but Jordi Mayfuila slotted home the rebound.

Liverpool were then denied a blatant penalty when Jordon Ibe was impeded in the area and the Reds' fury was compounded when City were awarded another penalty after a similar incident involving Denis Suarez, who then put City 2-1 up from the spot.

Rodolfo Borrell's young side refused to lie down and deservedly levelled on 82 minutes when Pelosi netted again after some fantastic approach play from the impressive Michael Ngoo.

Liverpool team: Stephens, Wisdom, Robinson (Smith), Sama, Sokolik, Coady, Ibe (McLaughlin), Roddan, Ngoo, Adorjan, Pelosi. Subs unused: Belford, Sinclair, Teixeira.

Haven't even seen highlights as I was on holiday. I wonder if there are any clubs out there that could do with a good striker?

Rodolfo Borrell's young squad face a fascinating encounter with Chelsea at Brentford FC's Griffin Park.

You can watch the whole game exclusively live on LFC TV and LFC TV Online with kick-off at 7.05pm BST.

Borrell's side have started the new U21 campaign in decent form with two hard earned draws against Wolves and Manchester City and a win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Last season Borrell's youngsters beat Chelsea 3-1 in Kirkby with Raheem Sterling, Adam Morgan and Conor Coady on target.

The last time these two sides met at Academy level in London was September 2010 when a Fabio Borini inspired Chelsea beat Liverpool 3-1.
                      Looking forward to this tonight.

Yes he is, but it seems like you're allowed a few over age players.
