Aye, debating taking a half day myself to watch it. Will maybe wait and see the starting line-up first.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I can understand the cult love for Ngoo, but I don't see the fuss TBH. He is better than average but not great. Reminds me of the big (black, sorry if that sounds racist but it was true in my school) guy at school that would beat you up if you tried too hard to show him up in the playground so you would sometimes let him get past you and score.

Ngoo won't be able to replicate this at a higher level (i.e. first team). Its just the way it is.
          One tit for another.

It's not really racist, but why bother mentioning that he was black in the first place?

To be honest, whenever we first signed him I thought he was signed as a reserve player, with the club never really expecting him to push on for a first team spot. I thought he was primarily there to provide competition for our youth players, help develop them and anything else would be a bonus. I can’t remember if I thought that after watching his first few games or based on comments from the club, but that was always how I seen him.

Then he starting scoring some great goals, particularly the Maradona one against stoke (quite similar to his recent Bray goal actually) and you could see he was actually a very good player. Much like this year, he was on fire last pre-season scoring goals for fun and I think that’s when I got carried away cheering him on. I didn’t realise I did until others pointed it out because I was half cut most of the time, but I’ve just continued with the exaggerated support. The thing is, it’s not really much of a joke any more as he does look like one of our best prospects. His scoring record must be comparable to Morgan’s but he has much more to his all round game. He had a similar International record to Wickham who a lot of people thought was the next big thing. At 19 he is still filling out and as with most tall players he needs experience to learn how to really use his height to his advantage. He isn’t reliant on his height though as he’s technically very good and relatively quick. The fact that he’s often played on the wing now is testament to this. It will be a big step up for him if he ever does get a call up for us or any Premiership team and he’ll find that he may no longer have the strength and height advantage to get him himself out of trouble. On his day, he is a handful for any defender though and if he keeps his recent form up then I’d love to see him make a few cameo appearances later in the season to see how he handles the call up. I agree that the odds are stacked against him ever making it here as we’ve seen much more talented youngsters come and go, but he’s certainly doing his chances no harm at the minute. I’d be delighted if he did though.

If he was only half the talent Jordy Brouwer was he might have stood a chance of making it RedReet. Sadly he's not.

If you opinion counted for anything I would be worried, sadly it doesn’t.

Joking aside I do actually really like Ngoo, he's got 'triffic feet for a big man , he's not slow either.

Sadly I don't think he'll ever be given a chance here under Rodgers.

I'd be looking to send him on loan at some point soon, I think he could do really well in League 1 or The Championship, then push on from there.

Jordy Brouwer incidentally is currently tearing it up for the mighty Almere City. He had a total of 1 career goal so far

                      Ahh, the Ajax superstar.

Reminds me of this idiot in work who argued that we should be starting Michael Nardiello (the Man U reject) every week after he scored a few reserve goals. **** our reserves were **** then although I suppose a certain Neil Mellor did ok for us that particular season.

Apparently the coach they were travelling on had stupidly high luggage bays. The only guy that could reach them was Ngoo, so they brought him along as a luggage boy
