That commentator was ok in the first half but clearly had a few at half time..

I didn't watch or have any interest in watching this game at all. I had an occassional look in the thread to see what was happening. I really hope my interest picks up when the season starts for real but to be honest after seeing the attitude of the people involved in the olympics whether its ruinning, horse dancing, jumping or cycling or any of the sports, its puts footballers to shame. Most footballers are overpaid cunts. They don't deserve our respect. This isn't the game I fell in love with 30 odd years ago.
Anyway, by the comments tonight, it sounds like we showed signs of promise. Thats got to be good. I'm sure as soon as the utd game comes round, my blood will boil and it'll be another season of heartache and anger.

Anybody else go? We were behind the goal at pitch level in Anfield Road - was right by Suarez's run down the line for the first goal - what a player he is!
Was impressed by Borini, but he seemed quiet in the second half. Gerrard looked to be able to get forward a lot more, and we looked so much better on the ball.
