Does that reflect well on the owners? I know there has been alot of discussion and anger lately about how we are considering selling our best players so how do people feel now?
I have to assume that we have now spent all the cash that was available to spend this summer.

So assuming from here onwards we have to sell to buy is everyone fine with that? Obviously the preferred sales would be of Carroll and Adam but if not him then it seems Agger is the next player we are willing to sell in order to raise funds for new signings

In my opinion im happy to improve the squad further by selling Carroll and Adam but not Agger

Yeah its a very good net spend for a summer window.. I think its distorted though because we've let Kuyt, Maxi, Bellamy and Aquilani all go, the wages they where on compared to Borini and Allen is massive difference.

If we brought in another attacking option I'd be happy with that as our squad for the season.

I know its not net spend, who knows how much we got for Aquilani. Only £1m for Kuyt and nothing for Bellamy and Maxi. Our wage bill will be much lighter now but it pains me to have lost Bellamy.

Im very happy with our defence and back up defenders and so I do not want to lose Agger.

But I will be very pleased if we sell Carroll and Adam to bring in another 3 attackers. I understand now why Carroll won't fit in and its defo best we take the hit and move him on for a more mobile finisher

I dont know I think we've now got a decent 1st 11 for BR's way of playing with decent cover for positions if we get injuries

I agree with Gibbo, Rich and Mostar - we're extremely light up top; For all the (potential) goalscorers that have left us, none have been replaced. Walcott and Sahin would make it a very good summer, however far-fetched.

As pointed out by Mostar, if the £12m we got for Meireles has paid for Borini. Maxi, Bellamy, Aquilani and Kuyt contributed £1m to the Allen pot, is it fair to say the owners have coughed up £14m of a transfer budget this summer?
