Sell Carroll, Cole, Adam. Buy one world class striker. Drop Downing play Suarez left and Borini right.

The first one was a stupid decision by Agger, there is always a good chance that a penalty is going to be given, especially for the home team and then being the last defender there is a damn good chance you are going to get a red card.

The second was however, for me anyway, it wasn't as if Skrtel tripped Long, it was more that he tapped the back of his leg and he fell over. Not a penalty for me at all, but then in the contact sport we call football, contact is now frowned upon.

In fact, I'm expecting winning to be the next thing to be frowned upon in football and it'll just be the taking part thats important.

And Suarez got booked for challenging an offside decision & Long did the same thing in the 2nd half (not for offside but challenged a decision) but got nothing! ****ing hate English refs!!
Was thinking the same but didn't want to say it, comes across as clutching straws but you're right. Am I right in thinking West Brom didn't get a single yellow card? Lucas booked for holding someone yet 3/4 times in the first half alone the where swiping players legs who where running at the back 4.

What does it matter, hes not our player?

Messi could score at some point this season.

Things he can't do very well are; finish and win a race.
I'm not arguing. I let his goalscoring record speak for itself.

One of their players (Olsson I think) did exactly the same but just a freekick was given.

Suarez isnt a top class goal scorer and he will not score the goals that we are looking for.

We need a proper striker. Suarez isnt it.

His record at any other club is totally pointless.. His record for us is what counts, he's been here a while now and he is consistent in what he does. Expecting him to produce Ajax stats for us is never going to happen.

The only positive to take from this game is that I have to be up at 6 in the morning and now I don't have to wait up to watch that ****e on MOTD.

Well maybe we should put Borini in the centre and let Suarez play off him.

Suarez scored 49 goals in 48 games for Ajax ffs.

I agree he lacks composure, and has at times for us needed lots of chances to score, but saying he cant score goals is so far wide of the mark.

If this season doesn't go well I may have to bite the bullet and allow my eldest son to support whoever he wants to.

Can't keep forcing this **** onto him. Hopefully he'll still pick us, or City as a last resort. I may have to murder him if he picks United or Chelsea.

If he wasn't getting into the positions he's getting into or having the chances he's having then I would agree with you.
