Thanjk you.

I was initially frustrated that Suarez missed three opportunities from within the six yard box; Having taken a moment and gone through the 'efforts' in my head the header was because the cross was just *too* high, the swipe was when he was off balance and I can't remember the third ... so perhaps he can only be blamed for the one.
The bigger question is about a fully functioning front three; Borini has to go central, Suarez left and we desperately need a new player to go right. If Suarez is going to do the magic alone on the left, Borini needs the supply from the right.
Its seriously worrying times seeing our fixtures over the next 4 games. We can seriously be on 0 points after these games based on that performance today.
Exactly its border line delusional.. He will continue in the same pattern IMO, he'll have days like Norwich away last year but the majority of the time he'll rip sides apart with his skill and miss chances he really should score.
He has found a consistency with us though, consistently missing chances you expect Sunday league players to put away half the time.
I'm not saying he's not class because he obviously is but he needs a goalscorer with him otherwise we won't get close to the top 4 any time soon.
Gerrard needs a word with himself after that, I thought his attitude to the game was pretty shocking.
It will take time, but we can't be made to look like ****ing cannon fodder by the likes of West Brom.. We should have tightened up when the game was out of reach and tried to save face because the 3-0 and even more so the onslaught will have done damage for most players confidence I fear.
He is certainly class and like I said, I think he just needs to calm down in front of goal and then they will start flowing, but he certainly shouldn't be exempt from criticism. You don't score 35 goals in 33 league games, 49 in all competitions in that season if you are not a goalscorer. It doesn't matter what league you are in.
The match also proved once & for all that English refs are the worst in the world! Not saying a different ref would've changed the result but how Olsson wasn't booked at least once is a mystery to me. And Suarez got booked for challenging an offside decision & Long did the same thing in the 2nd half (not for offside but challenged a decision) but got nothing! ****ing hate English refs!!

Every striker misses chances they should really score. Every striker.

Let's face it, they're massive games, and what do we do in them? We win.
We needed a striker. We still need one. Problem is we don't have the cash for one that would improve us or suit our system.
Think we'll get much better. From what Rodgers has been saying (more important to finish well than start well etc) I'm guessing he's known all along we are not quite there yet.
As for today, worldie goal and calamity at the back. Fancied us to win still at 11v11. Oh well.
Did anyone think the pens should have been given? I notice not a lot of people mentioning that. I thought neither of them were penalties and was utterly shocked that Agger got sent off.
Apparently the players ran themselves to a standstill...
I think they did cover a lot of ground - the movement when we had possession was great, we also pressed well if not a little aimlessly. Factor in the last half hour when we had ten men and there was a lot of huff, despite the end result.
