Exactly what we didn't want to happen, lose the game, get outplayed, play dire, get a key player sent off failed to score goals.

I think that the wide forward areas are seriously lacking in quality, I was disappointed with both Downing and Borini, unless they seriously step up their game this is going to be a huge problem!

I think that Rodgers showed his niavity today, once we went down to 10 men we played far too openly and you are always going to get stuffed if you play like that while a man down.

He should have brought Carragher on, gone defensive, brought Carroll on for Borini and let us play some percentage football. At 1-0 down, penalty saved etc, the game is there to be turned around. Instead we looked like we had nine on the pitch and we were more open than ever.

Cole hasn't play a game in the PL for over a season and came on with us behind after having a man sent off and Carroll was brought on the replace an injured Cole.

I hate to point out the obvious but the damage was done long before either player stepped on the pitch.

I don't mind passes being backwards or sideways. I do mind that its always backwards and sideways from our defensive midfield positions.

Nothing was coming backwards or sideways from our front 3 onto our attacking midfielders.

Who was it that was arguing Suarez is a good finisher? Not even league 2 standard in front of goal the majority of the time.

That was ****ing embarrassing! So hard to sit there through the last 15 minutes especially, could have been 4,5 or 6 towards the end.

I don't know what to say about that game at all.. The only positive I can come up with is that Reina saved his first pen in a long time.
