For every Van Nistelrooy there's an alfonso Alves, Dirk Kuyt, Kezman etc. And Kuyt only got moved to right after proving not up to the job as the main striker so we finally bought one who did, but then that doesn't suit your argument so ignore it.

You can argue all your want the facts are unavoidable, his return for LFC compared to the chances he's had is very average, bordering on poor. Yes he does it everywhere else but that doesn't help us does it.

I think the blame is 50/50 - Rodgers reacted wrong when we went down to ten men and at least four, maybe five players didn't turn up.

What I want is us to take the pressure off him by getting someone else capable of scoring goals too. He has to do it all himself and that's too a big a job for him. Not his fault but at the end of the day when he's all we've got and he misses chance after chance you can't argue he's prolific can you.

The header and the spill from foster both should be been tucked away for a man of his skill. He scores goals elsewhere because he has help, both in creating chances for him to finish and in finishing off the chances he's creates himself. With us it's all on his shoulders and it shows.

I'm not sure; I doubt he'd say to the likes of Gerrard: "you were ****ing gash today, do something about it or you're out."

It matters if the Manager is deluded enough to believe what he's spouting, as it gives us an insight into the mentality of the person at the helm.

I do agree with this, with Urguay he has Cavani amongst others helping him witj chances.

What I dont agree with is people (not necessarily you) implying he doesnt have the ability to finish, when he clearly does.
