In order of being allowed to leave it should be:

    Cole
    Downing
    Spearing
    Carroll
    Adam

You don't want to list any of the players who have lived through 4 managers in 4 years? Some of them have gone stale and should also be moved on for the good of the club and their careers

Most posters here knew what kind of players we bought over the last couple of years and it cannot come as a surprise that things went the way they did.

We made some terrible decisions and unfortunately we will have to pay for it.

                There isn't any other way.

Dropping his guts and the bench at the weekend and almost killing half the squad must have been the last straw

It's crazy that most of us called it but the scouts, manager and director of football all thought they'd be good signings
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

So did all the great pundits throughout the media.
                      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Hmmm. Maybe my memory is letting me down, but I recall a fair amount of people being pretty excited with the Joe Cole signing at the time (myself included).

And a lot of people thought that for the money we paid, Adam would prove a good signing.

Obviously no one thought they would be world beaters, but lets not kid ourselves into thinking we all knew they'd be (arguably) ****e.

                          Except Downing

Summer 2011 was probably th emost significant window in the clubs history. I know we all wanted Kenny to get the job, but I wonder if he had not been given the job full-time who would have been appointed. And, how they would have spent that incredible amount of money.

My biggest "wonder" is what would've happened had Rafa not been sacked, and had been in charge come the arrival of the new owners, and then had the equivalent money to spend that Kenny did..... but I don't want to send this thread down the path of another Rafa debate

The odds are, as long as the Manager was not British, we would have been in a far stronger position. We will never know.....

Back on topic I am stunned West Ham have not come in to bring Joe home. Its PR gold for them!
