We don't need one, we'll be fine. *

*close approximation of the spin we're gonna be putting on this, even Rodgers, although he won't believe it one bit.

I know strikers generally cost more than other players, but it's been obvious for a while that we aren't scoring goals. We need to score goals to be successful. I'm made up that we're much stronger in the midfield than we were, but I'm not optimistic that the lack of goalscoring issue has been addressed. We didn't have a decent striker and we still don't. If we'd bought a striker and/or Dempsey I think we would have been challenging for top four. Without a striker we will still be competing for a top 8 spot.

**** it. Many superstar strikers are off and running by 18, throw him in (Yesil, I mean) and see if he's a star

          Surprise factor

I thought we were in the same thread as your previous post about "the german kid".

That's not gonna help us much even if he is **** hot.

We need someone to put the ball in the back of the net and sadly he is not all that.

Yeah but we have Sahin, Allen and Gerrard to push it in!

I agree with shaggy about yesil, throw him on, sometimes its the best way, owen, rooney... he might get off to a flyer. Mind you, suarez will need to learn to pass the ball first.

We have enough midfielders so push Gerrard to the top as he is the most lethal finisher we have...

He is 17 year old kid who said himself he hopes that he can make it to the first team in a year or two.

Things worked for Sterling but there is always risk it can backfire with Yesil.

I'd personally easy him in gradually rather than to overwhelm him with unreasonable expectations.

That is not to say that he chould not get some playing time in early stages of CC cup or FA cup if the draw is very favorable.

Imo I'd let him develop fully first.

we won't see him at all this season.........rumour going round Liverpool is that he showed on his first day, was introduced to Raheem Sterling, and is now pregnant....
