**** me that was annoying to watch. Allen,Enrique and Sterling had excellent halves. Sahin looks lovely footballer but not doing much. Borini and Suarez welll.... Borini looks like he's going to fall over the ball every time. Technically he looks awful and 100% should not be playing out wide. Suarez is having one of the worst games i've seen him play, nothing is going right for him.

We look great possession to a certain point and then absolutely toothless up top. Arsenal have in Mertesacker & Jenkinson. two absolute donkeys that we are not taking advantage of.

Yet another costly mistake by Stevie... these are getting far too regular.

And the good bits far too irregular. On form, Shelvey is already a better option imo, and I really didn't think that would happen so quickly. Hopefully is a temporary loss of form.

Our squad is painfully thin, the team almost picks itself, players in bad form are gonna be almost guarenteed a game. Gonna be a worry when the games start to come thick and fast and injuries and suspensions kickin. Trying to stay positive, we can win this, come on the red men!

Ugh. We played alright. Things break down before we can get numbers in the box though. Usually though a misplay by Suarez or Gerrard. They have to be smarter with the ball with the space we are leaving in the midfield. Sahin looks like a player in his first game with a new team. Pretty invisible. Wouldn't mind seeing if Shelvey could offer anything different.

When was the last time Gerrard had a great game for us? I honestly can't remember.

He and his automatic inclusion is holding us back a bit IMO, he doesn't work hard enough, makes difficult passes and can't keep the ball. Maybe sub Borini and put Gerrard upfront.

We haven't played better. Arsenal are a counter attacking side, they invite pressure.

Arsenal have been excellent. Very solid and Diaby has been a beast for them. I think we're playing well but obviously lack that cutting edge. We could pass all day long but we won't score.

On the plus side. Sterling is a real talent, our best player with Allen who's been fantastic again. A real rolls royce of a player Joe Allen. Sterling's reading of a game is fantastic; knows when to press and when not. He's been our most threatening player this half.

I can't see us creating more chances or more quality chances than last year, so our lack of goal poacher is very worrying. First game for Sahin so I think he's feeling his way into the team but he needs to impose himself more.
