It was a dive, I agree. We complain about the treatment of Suarez from refs, but most of the time we're wrong.

There were a few people in the match thread saying we should sell him! Seriously, I just can't get over how fickle fans are these days. It's terrible.

If we were to get rid of each player in the squad starting with least important first, Suarez would be one of the last to go. And if he did go, Barca, Real or Inter would snap him up in an instant. But he's not good enough for us

I swear to god if he tries those pointless dribbles time and again, I will ****ing sell him and get Jovetic or Lewandowski or whoever the **** it is that knows how to finish chances first rather than just dribble for the heck of it.

It was never a dive, one of them I dont mind too much that we dont get, you can accept it. The infuriating ones are the awful challenges by Mertesacker and Kolarov that went unpunished. The Kolarov one should have been a pen to go 3-1 and the Mert one a pen to go 1-1 and v 10 men. We just cant seem to get anything off refs at the mo.

Maybe, be he has been woeful this season. Poor touches and misplaced passes galore.

Correct. Its infuriating, compounded by seeing the Mancs regularly awarded penalties for out and out dives.

If there is contact it can't be considered a dive.. Well at least it never is unless the player is a media scapegoat. Yeah he was looking for it and the ref might have thought it wasn't enough contact but he has no right to book a player for going down when their is contact involved.

I thought for most of the game we played well, the problem was that most of our good play came in the back and middle thirds of the pitch, we lack options and ideas in the final third, and someone to put the ball in the net.

As for the Suarez booking I thought it was a foul, it may have been a harsh penalty, but we conceded a couple of harsh pens on the opening day. They are the type of decisions that would be given at the other end. Whether it's Suarez reputation or referees just not giving us anything I don't know, but I thought we got **** all from the referee today. I thought Larsson(?) should have seen red for the challenge on Sterling, but only got a yellow.
