Having seen the goal not given discussed on Sky - the linesman definitely bottled it - Suarez was away and running. He only lifted his flag when Distin raised his arm in hope.

I thought Allen did ok.
Opposition teams know he's the one that sets the passing tempo and thus by pressing him it disrupts our game.
Fellani the cheating gimp, kicked the crap out of our lads and didn't get booked.
The refs offer us no protection at all.Last edited by Imy; 28-10-12, 04:43 PM.We come not to play.

I agree and I like Allen like everyone else, but the more the season goes on, the more he's struggling with the physical demands of that position. He's getting burned out.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostBut he isn't supposed to be a long term DM. I think he's doing a marvellous job given its not the job LFC employed him for.

Brad Jones **** up was the turning point of the game. We were in control and fairly comfortable up til then. We let them hassle us and press all game, and we did look tired out there.
Allen and Skrtel stood out, as did Stevie in patches. Luis is a handful but there were a couple of horrible sly tackles that he was very lucky to get away with.
And finally we are still right out of luck. Absolute joke decision not to get that winning goal. Unbelievable, but that just sums up our fortune."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

Initial BBC website report....
Suarez had a goal ruled out for a marginal offside
So they don't think it was the Coates challenge either. How could a linesman think that was offside? It wasn't ****ing marginal, it was clearly onside.

that's what i was thinking....... whatever lfc do now suarez's card is already markedOriginally posted by BobTheCharmer View Poststerling at the end nearly did a messi. ****ing hell, once he cut inside he should have gone for goal instead of trying to lay the ball off. brilliant piece of play. I do think suarez bullies sterling at times, its not like luis isn't selfish and chooses the wrong pass is it?
luis was brilliant at times today, loved the celebration but that yellow could easy of been red. slipped? not so sure.
Robbed at the end. If gerrard scores it gets given I'm sure of it.

Disgraceful decision at the end.
That said tho I felt we were poor, gave the ball away cheaply, wasteful in decent areas and we were second best to every knock down and 50/50 and threw away a golden 2-0 lead
We looked too lightweight, shelvey should have started over sahin.
We need a ****ing hard, strong fast centre mid, and some good quality and experience adding to the attack because its asking far too much of the likes of sterling and suso to carry the burdeni own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

The FA should make referees come out and explain those decisions and be made accountable for poor decisions when they are made, instead we'll get some poxy statement from Mike Riley on the matterWe managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

It's a joke mate! You just know the liner gave it because it was Suarez, I genuinely believe if it was anyone else he lets it stand.Vive la France
