It's a joke really. As far as I'm aware you don't see any other big PL clubs having their team leaked 24 hours before kick off.

As much as we want it, Coates is not ready imo. He got mullered mid week.

IMO he's only being held back by his infrequent starts. In his position especially it's important to play regularly. He did very well against City, and played well against Swansea too. He's way ahead of Carragher and should be playing.

It a difficult one. For me Carragher did well against Anzhi and is a perfectly reasonable call from Rodgers. If the rest of the team was more settled then I think Coates would be my preference and I suspect would be a more likely option. I hope we sort things out elsewhere in the team so by the end of the season we can get Coates some games - he has a lot of potential.

I worry a bit that he tries long balls that Rodgers must hate though - which might also be a factor in his being behind Carragher at this point.
