It's worse than that, Gerrard's lazy passing is benefitting the opponents. He's sulking I think, not happy with the plaudits that Allen received early season and clearly not liking the tactics/style of play.

Expect Rafa to make a £5m bid in January. Heard it here first.

Lol. Gerrard was still better than Henderson and the dreadful Allen. They offer absolutely nothing except side passes and balls back to the keeper and CBs.

for ****s sake tee, better posters than you have already declared Allen a quality player after the first couple of games, have you noticed how the pass percentage stats have disappeared recently?

Steve Clarke is a class act. Same Sqaud, massive improvement on an average lower-mid table team, little spent. No moaning just getting on with Job.

That was a good decision which was only made because firstly he made a mistake, which is fine.

But if you think his decision have been spot on lately I'll disagree with you all day long. Cost us vs Young Boys with just letting the game stay wide open and today he brought Cole on and left Suso on the bench who is far more creative.

He won't drop/sub Gerrard no matter how **** he plays. Same with Allen it seems.

I like him but his decision making lately has been strange and I think that's being kind.

Baracus, he doesn't have ridiculously high expectations bestowed on him though

There is no ridiculously high expectations at LFC. BR said so he said FSG don't expect a 4th place finish. So I can expect us to at least match last season. Minimum expectation.

At least we are not conceding goals, but that was poor. What's the point of passing it around to death if we barely have an attacking threat. Sterling was very poor second half, as were most of the team. Thought the entire midfield 3 were rubbish, but Henderson was the worst because he basically hid and never supported the attack. Downing was terrible and looks shot for confidence completely. We were one decent Sterling pass from a win I suppose, but it was just boring to be honest. We are just terrible up top, and rely on Suarez for everything. Thought Shelvey should have come on earlier. We'd better be signing some real quality in January or the tide will turn against the owners. 4th is there for the taking, but we are just not good enough right now.

Course there is. There might be lowered expectations to the media but he's expected to deliver an improvement on last season, despite being delivered a heap of **** to work with.

It's probably best to see how he's backed in January before gauging how much he's really being trusted to deliver

I don't get the whole Lucas is our savoiur..he will allow other players to attack etc..if anything Lucas would have been the savoiur in Kenny's team. We also took the lead and drew the games undwr Kenny. Spearing Adam Gerrard did f'all. In BR's team we lack shape, in defence, midfield and hocus pocus attack. Hansen was right at the start of the season after the west brom game and we had lucas fit then and playing.

We don't lack shape in defence now, although we do lack a good LB and lack proper cover for them in MF. We have Allen as our DM, and he isn't a DM. With Lucas there, Allen can cover more of the middle ground where he has had most success, and we can let one of Shelvey or Gerrard push up to support Suarez. Having a genuine DM like Lucas would definitely make a difference imo.

Lucas is mythical nowadays. Every time he's out he ends up getting more valuable.

He's the only player we have in that position. His importance to us is therefore greater than it otherwise would be.
