This season we have been let down by individual errors more than anything. Last season we were just badly set up. I couldn't see us capitulating like we did away at QPR last season this season.

Went for a piss and you'd covered it.

Fully agree though, Other teams pick up on it too, you regularly see their strikers or an attacking midfielder positioned In between our midfield and defence. Which is how Anzi scored their goal against us, and why Hernandez had so much joy against us on Sunday

The Front players don't look half arsed to press except for Luis. When teams attack us on the counter, Its a free for all sometimes where the players end up.

Less goals against and lost the same number of games as the team sitting at the top of the table, indicates that perhaps the problem defensively isn't as bad as is being made out but turning tight games into victories is which considering we rely on Suarez and a 17 year old kid to provide the bullets isn't that surprising.

Oh and incidentally WBA had 14 points after 13 games last season and this season have 29 points from 13 games

I think that the failure to add firepower in the summer is the one criticism that really sticks against Rodgers. His priorities were IMO wrong. If he rectifies that in January I think we could well be in very good shape.

Well we've conceded fewer goals than league leaders Man Utd. Only six teams have conceded fewer league goals than us in fact.

We are far more solid this year. Like someone said all these draws could easily have been losses last season. Its a good foundation. Just means once we get the attacking side of things right we are going to be a good side. Get Lucas and Allen working hard in the centre and we'll be even more solid as a unit. I think we are better off this season. Much more of a team that knows their individual roles than a team who have just been told to get out there and play football. (No offence to Dalglish)
