Would have preferred someone else for the money, but he's going to improve us and if Rodgers believes he's the right player then its his decision.
Hopefully he'll settle in straight away and pick us up a few extra points.
My concern is he's a luxury signing.. In the sense that Babel was. Both worth the risk but in the case of Babel we had a much stronger team and the risk wasn't as big. Sturridge needs to come in and make an impact or he'll be under pressure and taking him out the firing line would be seen as dropping him.
He's skillful, direct and quick. He'll add something different to our front line.
Nobody can say we haven't been backed £12m on the January 2nd.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

One thing that will be picked up on straight away as a forward at LFC is his first touch. A poor one and he is doomed

He can turn out to be a good buy as long as he puts the team's interest first.
Being greedy and selfish is what worries me as we already have Suarez who is not the most team oriented player.
Give it a rest. Some people don't rate him which is just something that you will have to deal with. We all want one common thing to be achieved and some people think there are different ways of going about it. Why not tell him why he's wrong rather than just say **** off.
Indeed. What a joke. We all have our opinions on players, we can't just suddenly pretend we rate him just because he's signed for us. So you don't rate the lad as you are perfectly entitled, and get told to **** off!
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yeah, we're also paying £12m for him which Chelsea will be made up with!
If he turns out to be good for us he'll probably be valued around £15m and if he flops we'll probably let him go for £7/8m.. We continue to pay for potential before its proven.
