                  Now that I've seen the highlights his shots weren't too bad either. Well directed, ON TARGET, and with power. Still should have scored one of them though so no excuses there.

                    Really annoying thing about today is that everyone is looking beyond Sturridge's contribution. He changed the team today, man of the match for me.

                            Done excellent when he came on, looked really up for it.
                            Involved in both goals of course, so you cannot ask for more than that.

                            Bit fortunate to escape a red card though. But **** it.

                              Shelvey was luckier to avoid a red, the ref really was a friend to us today.

                              Thank God Sturridge is quickly rediscovering his pre-injury form. Maybe Coutinho needs the same sort of break Sturridge got.
