When Sturridge is fully fit I still think so yeah, for now anyway. Coutinho, even though he is getting some stick at the minute, probably adds a bit more creatively.

I still reckon Brendan will go with the 4-2-2-2 I suggested originally with Hendo back on the right, and Sterling will come off the bench.

Better than Torres was.

The non LFC world would be creaming over that razor sharp thought and awareness for his goal if that had been Torres, but he's overshadowed by Suarez headlines.

He's good. Better than we had any right to expect. But he's not that good.

That said, he's the poacher we've been missing for years.

Torres (of old) and Suarez aren't poachers. They are much more than that.

I just like saying good stuff because being a Liverpool fan was miserable for the best part of 4 years. Its a ****ing laugh just now, so much fun compared to the last few years.

Genuinely believe there's a valid Torres comparison to be made though. He's definitely ahead of him in a lot of areas

What's scary is a no time do I think he has been 100% fit. Sturridge said (paraphasing) he is at 70% of what he thinks he is capable of.

he was ****ing great tonight. he defended and pressed, great movement and awareness. such a quality player. he was pissed at skying the peno and then got greedy but who can blame him, a little sulk at coming off but all part of the learning curve. great that brendan saw the need to wind him in and control him.
