    Best #15 we've ever had

Sturridge is a real talent, he gives our attack a flourish none of the others can. Those finishes were made to look effortless by him.

The tekkers on the first finish

Best wrap him in ice until the Derby.
    Modifying post.

      No doubt about it.

The thing with Sturridge is he needs to be played in (as such) for both goals the quick interplay was better and we need more of that then the plodding around slow passing, no movement and shots from outside the box.
He’s here! I *know* he’s here! That’s him, I’m telling you that’s him! You hear me? I’m telling you it’s *Keyser Soze*!

Rose tinted spectacles and all that.

He's not far behind tbf, he needs to stay injury free and do it regularly without Suarez.
I think he is and as Shaggy said, the funny thing is that Sturridge is underrated and you just proved that point.

He is a natural. First touch, movement, can spot a forward pass and has a ****ing eye for goal. He is the best striker in the league when fit.
          Are we winning?

Did well today, being critical, needs to put away some of those he messed up. Most can be put down to match sharpness & fitness of course. LFC look better when he plays as when fit Rodgers has to play him and we automatically look much better.
            Forwards.......

Think it was a considerate tactic to slow the game and pass it around, then up the tempo near the box whenever one of our forwards made a move. It's a very continental way of playing and very sophisticated. Maybe the reason why we cock it up a lot defensively.

Cracking player and proves it when fit,

When he does it regularly for a couple of seasons we can then have this argument.

when he has hit 100 Liverpool goals

I don't think he's under-rated its' just that he's a sick note and he's not done it regularly enough.

If he stays fit and bangs in 25+ goals for a few seasons then yes he'll be even more highly rated.

I fully expect him to get injured soon though, the mans made out of crackers.

In my experience fans of other teams have no idea how good he is.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

A fit Sturridge last year and would of made top 4.

Makes a massive difference to the team but scary how bad we are without him.

Fredo, seriously dude take the rose tinted glasses off.
We've been playing that slow plodding **** for the majority of this and last season and without fail we **** up. Look at the Carlisle match. I'd love to think as you do, in that that was the plan

One of the things i liked about Rodgers when he started was he bought pace in to the team, that Suarez seson we we were lightening - remember the Arsenal thumping - remember how quick the play was and how we tore them apart?
Where's the pass and move now? the fact that we've got such a slow team doesn't help.

Anyway i digress, good to have Sturridge back.

Its because the one 'full' season he's had he was overshadowed by Luis Suarez.
If he can stay fit and fire us in to contention he'll certainly be talked up more.

Well Carlisle we were **** but not today. A few more wins under the belt, and if possible scoring a **** loads more, will help confidence and we'll be better. I'm sure of it. No tinted glasses.

It really isn't. The numbers back it up and a good eyesight!

Sturridge in the league since he signed in 2012/2013.

                              37 goals 4273 minutes. A goal every 115 mins.

Aguero in the league since 2012/2013

                              55 goals 6507 mins. A goal every 118 mins.

It's really not that radical to suggest Sturridge is better. Though I get people who say he needs more longevity etc but when we get him on the pitch he's as good or even better than Aguero.

Sturridge is a great striker and would be spoken of as the best in the league if he could only stay fit.

Him and Ings could be a great 'one runs/other scores' partnership, more so than with Benteke I suspect.
