Leroy sane can play up front and he has similar qualities to Sturridge plus he works a lot harder.

Agree, it would also be a real immediate test of his "character", if he refuses to play then bin him.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostThere's no point being cautious with him., he ends up getting injured anyway. We need to stick him on the pitch and have him hobble off at half time, at least we'd get 45mins out of him. If we don't play him he'll give that 45mins on the training pitch instead.

This was universally panned as a ****ing ridiculously stupid course of action when owl faced cunt did it.Originally posted by redmike65 View PostAgree, it would also be a real immediate test of his "character",
Something to knee jerk to and it's suddenly ****ing genius!Last edited by EwarWoo; 27-11-15, 01:08 PM.

Sure, but the context is different - he was training perfectly well, then with the game imminent suddenly "feels something", I simply don't trust him.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostThis was universally planned as a ****ing ridiculously stupid course of action when owl faced cunt did it.

He's not faking anything, but he's way too injury prone to either keep or sell, we'll probably have to run out his contract and release him. Can't see thing getting any better for him so he's getting to point where he's useless to us.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Yep, theres a debate to be had on what to do with him but all the abuse and that is ****ing baffling. If we did get rid I just know Arsenal would take a chance and even with their seemingly **** medical team he'd suddenly play 40 games and get 40 goals! A bit like how Suarez has somehow suddenly stopped ****ing biting people and stuff.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostHe's not faking anything, but he's way too injury prone to either keep or sell, we'll probably have to run out his contract and release him. Maybe it's best to keep him in that case. He has what, three years left?

I'm flabbergasted by some of the simplistic views on here - this whole "he's not pleasing me right now so get rid of him" is pretty crass.
For one, its not just as easy as "getting rid", he's on a massive contract that Liverpool can't just rip up. If we were to "get rid" at the very least the club will end up paying a large proportion of the wages he earns now, because there is no way another club will risk that level of expenditure on someone so injury prone.
Also, he may just get better and start playing again. We all know what he can do, he's a stellar, top level player with more natural ability than pretty much any of his team mates. His natural ability is better than Torres at his peak - another player who was injured a lot. If Sturridge left and starting banging them in elsewhere, I bet you all the moaners on here would be complaining that we should have kept him.
And finally, what's wrong with supporting someone who clearly has an affinity with the club and its fans? He comes across like a top guy, and is a brilliant footballer when he's fit. It can't be easy for someone who isn't able to do what he does because his body lets him down.
