                    Smith looked pretty good going forward. Absolute peach of a cross. Wasn't put under much pressure on the defensive end, but looks a player.

                      Apparently we let him go recently ...and resigned him ... did well if you could judge him on a team that was all but beaten when he came on ... good to see an option at LB other than Enrique

                        Nope, but that was the least of the points I made!

                        Fair enough, you don't like him and prefer average / middling strikers to a world class one coming back and scoring goals on his first start back, and you've taken exception to him because he sulks a bit. Its a very valid point

                          Problem is he's only so far away from his next crippling injury. Unfortunately him and McLaughlin have been very unlucky in that regards.

                            I wasnt expecting any ruckus in here today.

                            60 mins from Sturridge and 2 goals

                            Good times no? Who cares about the rest of it. He can moan all he wants and sulk, he and Suarez used to do that and it spurred them on, if he keeps scoring goals that's all that matters.

                            I thought it was good to see him single out Emre for the pass through for the goal. What more is he supposed to do, hand job?
