    Its such a shame because he's probably only 2nd to Aguero in the league, really top class striker.

    I think Rodgers was aware he couldn't rely on Sturridge last year and that's why he brought in Benteke and Ings as well as not allowing Origi to go out on loan. However I'm not convinced Benteke is the answer, Ings is a good back up and can be relied on but we desperately need a top quality forward.

      Benteke isn't the answer, and the recruitment of him and Firmino as well just smacks of scattergun. Would you want to build your Liverpool around Benteke? I wouldn't.

          Although I do feel that Firmino will be an important player for us under Klopp, I just can't see Benteke's style of play fitting in a Klopp team
