I want rid because of the injuries. If he didn't get injured often then I'd be happy to keep him I wanted rid of agger (my fav CB for ages) for the same reason.

We pay a lot of money. I want players to be available. It's not their fault they get injured but it doesn't mean I want them.

Oh and a problem when a player knows they have to be in the team can mean poorer performances.
Has he been non performing lately? He scored in the first leg and hit the bar in the second leg. And he's been fit.
    Are we winning?

Yep I think we should buy strikers based on times they hit the bar.

Others have suggested he hasn't been performing.

My wanting rid is because he's very expensive for the return. I think we can do better with that money.

The ideal would be a studge who plays 30 games a season. He doesn't though does he.

So do you think that I'd we get rid he won't earn huge sums somewhere else? It's not that ruthless is it?

Others suggesting he isn't performing doesn't mean he isn't. Klopp selected him for the past two games, so he be thinking differently.

Since he's come back and started to play regularly, we've improved. And will continue to do so.

Unless we can replace him with someone who has similar ability and is less fragile, I would be inclined to give him every possible chance to prove himself.

My worry is who could we bring in that's better. It's an issue for us as a fit and firing Sturridge is almost irreplaceable however it's keeping him fit that's the problem.

I hope we don't move him on and we see a full pre season under Klopp, got the feeling he might be off though

He won't be fit for any length of time.

Do we need someone better? What about slightly worse but gets no injuries so scores more goals over the season.

                  Not sure fans should either.

Few managers would admit it like this, but it's the reality. Klopp has hinted at it when he talked about how tempted he was to throw sturridge back in immediately after injury because he knows his quality.

Many would give you a spiel about nobody being undroppable and it always being about form but there are certain players who have such ability in teams like Liverpool where they can't afford not to start because if they are on form they are world class.

If Sturridge is still putting in these performances in 6 weeks time then of course the situation changes but right now his past has bought him enough time to be starting still. That's the reality imo.

Hate to say it, but he doesn't look anything like a Klopp player at the moment.

Not quite reached this stage yet but I was getting very close a few weeks ago.

We seem to he winning with him in the team, even if he isn't doing that well. Players around him seem to do well when he is around, especially Coutinho. I wouldn't change it unless this suddenly changes, simple as that.

It's crazy the criticism he gets at the moment. Totally crazy.

There's no reason to change it for one simple reason, the only other option that might be better is now injured. And that's not a great reason for picking him. If he's banging them in you can afford to carry a passenger up front, he isn't though. Working your balls off is a pre requisite for any successful team, especially a Klopp one and he isn't. It's also a easy way to keep the fans onside while you find your touch and rhythm again but his attitude appears off to me in this regard. He has between now and the end of the season to save his Liverpool career imo but I also think if we sold him to a rival it'd be a massive mistake, once he gets his head in the game he's unstoppable.

I'd play him in a two with Origi while Firmino is out. Origi's work rate would give Daniel more space to do some damage if he can be arsed.
