But yeah we categorically can't rely on him over the season. We've been left short up top so many times because of this

    Agreed dan

      Would walk into Germany/Spain/France's teams

The lack of quality strikers in Europe, we've got to keep him.

Thread bump does not compute....is he injured yet or not?!

Probably but, the fact he gets injured far to often for us leaves me with massive doubts about his long term future with us

The irony being we hope he doesn't start ahead of Ings and Origi any more. He's been rubbish for a few months now.

Well its hardly his fault for England when he is stuck out on the left. A position he never plays for us.

Its not just him playing on the left, he's done that before with huge success. The problem now is his injuries mean he runs in treacle all the time. Playing for England hasn't helped him climb out of the tar pit like I had hoped.

He played on the right chaps!

He'll never get his pace back, some have thought it psychological but it's not. That said he's still got quick feet, and he scored goals since he came back including a couple of peaches so he still has a place it'll just be a different style for him now with Mane, Origi and Ings (hopefully) offering speedy attack.

He had a real stinker, much like everyone else. Although Rooney had probably the worst game of football I have ever seen a pro footballer play. It was excruciating watching him.

Totally agree about Shrek. Harry big bollox Kane stunk the place out too all competition but Roy persevered with him & £terling

No way, that title will always go to Joe Cole in the 3-0 defeat in the League Cup to Swansea I had the misfortune of going to a few years ago. I have never seen a player so bad, or so tired after 10 minutes of a game.

I'll never forget bigging Joe Cole up when we signed him. Did a bet with Paddy Power for Joe Cole to score 6 goals in the premier league season. Put 250 quid on it, easy money I said... it's just 6 goals. Cunt get sent off after a few mins vs Arsenal and his career went down the ****ter with that along with my 250 quid.
