looks like it'll be a sturridge and sakho double in the january sales, 50m to the cockney stadium thieves.

Frustrating as hell...clearly a class player but it kinda sums up his time here....he's struggled to get in the team....and then with coutinho out and a couple of other knocks, it's his big chance to get back in the side and stake a claim.....and he gets another "knock" and is out

Meanwhile origi comes in and grabs a few goals

It's frustrating for us all but it doesn't matter how much ability he might have, if he's never available then we have to look at other options

Time to go balls out for Pulisic or Dembele in January, and then the other and one more in the summer.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's downed tools IMHO and trying to force a move in January.

Yes class player but how many unexplained injuries can we as fans take?

I really rate him as a player but patience is wearing thin.

Completely agree with this, I think it's fair to say that judging by Klopp's comments short of actually saying it in his comments, that is exactly what Sturridge has done.

Storage thinks he is too good for us and the team, he's always been selfish he's never going to change.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Thats ridicilous... based on what? Klopps frustrated and Sturridge is injury prone. But no... he has downed tools because he thinks he is too good for us?

Partly yes, and that he's seen his arse about not getting games.

Can understand his frustration but he's never been a hard worker really and Klopp has now seen this himself.

I think he's just injury prone, all there is to it. I don't think there will be a long queue either for his services, he's on big wages but can't play regularly. He'll probably end up winding his contract down for us and either leave or get a new on lower wages, he wont get another big contract IMO, and I think he knows it as well.

Someone (here or elsewhere) noted that he always seems to be injured just when a chance comes a-calling (with Coutinho out for weeks) and for Christmas, and that what is initially described as a minor strain/knock always turns into something more significant.

Sturridge never struck me as someone who'd shrug off a niggling pain. A club can't really keep him just for the chance he'll come off the bench and score the winner once in a blue moon.

We badly need him fit for a long period.
                          Are we winning?

He was up until the last couple of weeks and we just left him on the bench.

Four scoring games on the bounce for Derek. I wonder if he can go on a Vardyesque run?
