Can anybody help me with a Sturridge memory? I am sure he scored a goal where he just about kept it in beyond the back post then juggled it two or three times before smashing it in. I thought it was against Everton.

Does anyone remember this goal and can confirm when it was?
I think that was Stoke mate, away. Again, I'm not 100% and just speaking from memory.

Edit: yeah it is Stoke away. Here is his comp from that game. Looks a different player

      That's the one!

      Cheers.

So talented, the speed and sharpness of him then in comparison to now. Such a shame.

It's sad watching that. He was a different gravy back then.

Oh triffic......so while you're up the road jollying it up, it's touch your toes time for Rodney

Jeez, still only 29, should be in his prime
I make no apologies, this is me

Can't see him kicking another ball for us. This run in is far too important to be ****ing around wasting time giving him more chances to stroll about doing nothing.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                  Oops

He looked pissed off all through the match. He was open and wanting the ball when Keita was played in. He was waiting behind Mane for 2-0. Offside for the only time he was played in and then pulled with 20 minutes to go. When he went off he was hardly warm to Ox considering he'd been out for a year.

He probably thought this might be his last game at Anfield and wanted to sign off with a goal.

I can't wait to see the back of him to be honest.

I think I'd prefer to have the likes of N'gog coming on for these games. At least he'd have potential to talk about.

Not sure if Budapest Honved want to loan him out to us

Yeah he doesn’t look a good fit for us anymore does he. Hopefully that was it & we don’t need to see him used any more.

There's been talk of him coming over to the A-League over here, just to torture me more.

Did he even touch the ball last night?

Honestly don't understand why he played to be honest, Divock deserved a game.

I think Div will play vs Barca & Klopp didn’t want to take a risk with him last night.

I am torn in my views on Sturridge, he was a fantastic player for us a few years ago, but injuries have clearly taken their toll on him and he is a shadow of the player he was. I think that he has stayed too long, he deserves a good send off for what he did for us, but he just doesn't suit this team either in the way he plays or his attitude which just doesn't seem to fit in with the other lads.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
